Sapphire Consulting

Sapphire Consulting is a non-profit, pro-bono student consulting service comprised solely of members of Alpha Kappa Psi at the University of Minnesota. Sapphire was founded in 2008 with the goal of using our business skills to help Twin Cities non-profits succeed in the competitive business world. We aim to further the mission of non-profit organizations by pairing teams of business students and alumni advisors with non-profit professionals to solve real world business problems. Our projects are built around a win-win methodology - our clients receive free business consulting services to help their organization, and our students apply the skills they are learning in school to gain experience in project management, client relations, and various fields of business. Past clients include the United Way, the ARC Greater Twin Cities, Como Park Zoo, and many others.

Yellow Rose Capital Management

Yellow Rose Capital Management is an investment board comprised of members of Alpha Kappa Psi at the University of Minnesota. In October 2013, Yellow Rose was granted $50,000 to manage in capital markets. Students involved with Yellow Rose gain experience in both technical and fundamental investment techniques by making investment decisions with real money while learning from experienced alumni advisors on the Alpha Kappa Psi Scholarship Fund Committee.
